The school year kicks off with the day of the book at Habi. This day shines on the importance of reading and literary creativity. Meeting a real-life author is made possible thanks to Habi.
Halloween
The dusk sets in over Habityville for Halloween. The spiders crawl out of their hiding spots, the skeletons share horrifying tales from beyond and witches are busy concocting activities for the not faint of heart.
Christmas
Glitter and dazzling lights shining on the holiday season at Habi. Mr. Gingerbread man is getting a makeover as well as surprise guest who tends to keep track of who behaved, … as well as who didn’t ;)
Diwali
The Hindu festival of lights is in the limelight to the greatest delight of the children. From lanterns to traditional tattoos, the magic of the orient operating at every corner… Namaste.
Thanksgiving
Sharing traditional and seasonal dishes all the while discovering the American culture and history. Turkey is the star of the day!
Other events, as for example Chines new year or Easter, also contribute to a memorable school year …
We then close off with our Graduation Party, bidding farewell to the school year through numerous activities and festivities to reward and value the work of the children.
